Welcome to the Fated Hand workshop. This is where we park interesting ideas, half-formed concepts and questions so they don’t disappear in a chat or accidentally turn into rules before we’ve discussed them.

Add an idea

Fastest way: Tell ChatGPT, “Add this to the Fated Hand Ideas Scratchpad: …”. We can add the idea to this GitHub-backed page, and Cloudflare will publish the change automatically.

Or edit from your browser: Open the scratchpad in GitHub’s editor. You must be signed into a GitHub account with edit access to the private repository. Make your change, then click Commit changes. There’s no need to have VS Code or the local site running.

You and your development buddy can read this page through the public website. Editing through GitHub requires repository access.

For quick notes, a title and a sentence are plenty. If you want a little more structure, copy this:

Adopted into the rules

Once we’ve agreed on a mechanic, replace the scratchpad entry with a link to the approved V2 page. That keeps this page lightweight and makes the official rules easy to find.
